What You Will Do

  • Provides counsel and advice to top management on significant Technical Strategy & Architecture matters, often requiring coordination between organizations.
  • Undertakes and leads the most complex architecture projects requiring additional specialized technical knowledge.
  • Makes well-thought-out decisions on complex or ambiguous IT architecture issues.
  • Coordinates with users and business leaders to determine requirements.
  • Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented and monitored to increase efficiency.
  • Anticipates internal and/or external business challenges; recommends process, product or service improvements.
  • Solves unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the business.
  • Leads project teams to achieve milestones and objectives; monitors project schedules and costs.
  • Focuses on providing thought leadership and technical expertise across multiple disciplines.
  • Recognized internally as “the go-to person” for the most complex Architecture assignments.
  • The technical architect will design software, develops product specifications, and determines technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platforms.
  • Collaborates with other professionals to determine functional and non-functional requirements for new software or applications, using tools and methodologies to create representations for functions and user interface of desired product.
  • Defines all aspects of development including appropriate technology and workflow and coding standards.
  • Must be hands-on and capable of building software frameworks and products.
  • Supports and solves technical challenges in IaC, java, .net, python, groovy, nodejs and bash scripting languages.
  • Lead activities to develop, document, and maintain complex architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs for software systems.
  • Lead development of code and integration of complex software components into a fully functional software system.
  • Work with other architects and engineers to identify and prioritize application architecture concerns that can provide the most business value.
  • Provide high-level analysis and design reviews to solve conceptual problems and produce efficient and stable solutions.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, lead in a team environment and be responsive to project tight deadline requirement.
  • Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.
  • Mentor and motivate developers to think creatively with a positive attitude.
  • Work closely with other engineers to pioneer and spearhead mobile technologies and patterns.
  • Capable of owning projects through design, implementation, and deployment.
  • Effectively prioritize workload to meet deadlines and work objectives.
  • Write clearly, succinctly, and in a manner that appeals to various audiences.
  • Improves operations by conducting systems analysis.
  • Communicate technical information to a non-technical audience.
  • (AWS/Azure/OCI) services.
  • Architecting and developing customer applications to be cloud optimized.
  • Working as a technical leader alongside business, development and infrastructure teams.
  • Providing deep software development knowledge with respect to cloud architecture, design patterns and programming.
  • Advising and implementing cloud best practices.
  • Working as both an infrastructure and application development specialist.
  • Implementing DevOps practices such as infrastructure as code, continuous integration and automated deployment.
  • Helping development teams architect scalable, highly available application solutions that leverage cloud
Skills and Experience You Will Need
  • Must have at least 8 years of hands-on experience in software engineering and 6 years of experience in application architecture.
  • Must have at least 4 years of hands-on experience in building application design and architecture for cloud platforms.
  • Must have 4 years of bachelor's degree in computer science or relevant field.
  • Proficient in programming languages, such as Java, .Net, Go, Python, Javascript.

Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of remaining stationary at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift to 15 lbs., as needed
