A highly respected design studio in NYC is looking to bring on a Controller. This company provides in-home lighting design services. The controller will be responsible for all accounting operations and financial reports.

The Role:

- Lead, plan, prepare and manage all aspects of the annual budget and long-range planning processes.

-Identify potential budget variances and compile statistical information

-Take care of the processing, recording, updating and reconciling fiscal information in compliance

-Analyze expenditures

-Issue timely and complete financial statements, including calculating and issuing financial and operating metrics. Works with CPA to ensure GAAP compliance and prepare compiled financial statements.

-Contribute to overall operation and help keep the company fully aware of financial condition.

-Assist in the preparation of financial statements

What You'll Need:

-Bachelor's Degree in Accounting

-5+ years' experience as an accountant

-Experience with Dynamics NAV

-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

-Ability to act and operate independently
