About the Role:
The Order Entry Processor is responsible for document management in Life File. Entering patient, client, and medication demographics. Processing orders and furthering them to the appropriate processing folder to be completed. Communicate with Customer Care regarding incomplete orders.
Responsibilities
1. Route orders in a timely manner.
2. Enter accurate patient demographic information into Life file.
3. Maintain confidentiality of pharmacy information, following HIPAA guidelines.
4. Identify incomplete orders.
5. Work closely with the Customer Care Team.
6. Understand when to escalate calls to a Supervisor.
Qualifications
1. Outstanding research and analytical skills.
2. Type at minimum, 60 wpm. Typing test required.
3. Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access) and internet.
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
5. Exceptional attention to detail.
Experience
1 years of relevant pharmacy technician knowledge preferred.
High School Graduate, Certified Pharmacy Technician preferred.
