New Jerseys premier amenities company is looking for qualified lifeguards for a luxury residential building in Jersey City. NJ. We are looking for certified lifeguards to work from approximately May 30 through September 1, 2019 at our beautiful 7th floor, roof top pool. Hours/Shifts will vary Sunday through Thursday between 9:30am and 10:30pm and Friday and Saturday 9:30am until 11:30pm. Part time and full time shifts will available. Lifeguards become part of our Amenities Concierge Team and will work together with existing staff.
The Lifeguard is responsible for maintaining a safe environment for all swimmers and patrons. Lifeguards will be responsible for completing daily pool operation tasks such as opening and closing checklist, pool inspection with chemical log, orienting new swimmers to the pool facility and the safety and rescue of patrons in and around the pool at all times.
Must possess a current certification in Lifeguarding, First Aid, CPR, and AED. Water Safety Instructor certification desired, but not a requirement. At least 1 year experience in being a Lifeguard and water safety programs. Must abide by and enforce all onsite procedures, rules, and guidelines for pool users. Must possess excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to work with all levels of clients. Evidences a high degree of sensitivity to issues and to persons. Ability to work with a diverse multi-generational community. Is conscientious in follow-through on work assignments and has the ability to be a self-starter. Must pass criminal background & pre-employment drug test. Must adhere to our Grooming Policy.
