Toddler Room Teacher (2.5-3.5 years) (Clifton)

Bright Start Academy is looking for an energetic, creative, reliable, fun 2 ½ -3-year-old classroom lead teacher. We are a state licensed, Grow NJ Kids affiliated Early childcare center that prides itself on our low student teacher ratios, supportive, caring, and fun filled environment. We are currently looking to fill our preschool Lead Teacher Position.
The Ideal Candidate for this position should posse:
Must be reliable, professional, and articulate
Have 1-2 years' experience as a lead teacher
Be able to create age appropriate, fun, flexible lesson plans
Hold a CDA or higher degree with a focus on early childhood education
CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
Experience with the Highscope curriculum is a plus
Responsibilities:
Maintain a clean and safe learning environment
Create lesson plans that align with the Highscope curriculum
Able to multi task and be flexible
Able to lift 25lbs
Build and maintain positive parent relationships
Follow school and NJ state policies
Willing to create a program for potty training and able to change diapers
Work Monday-Friday from different shifts(8-5 or 9-6).
