The Front Porch in Hawthorne is looking for staff members.
The restaurant will serve American food with Asian twists.
We are seeking creative and energetic staff members to fill the following positions:
- Line cooks
- Prep cooks
- Food Runner
- Bus Person
- Dishwasher
Should be open to a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Also, have the ability to work as a team player as well as independently
Must have a positive attitude, fresh, personable, well kept
Must have good communication and people skills
Must know how to follow directions as instructed
FOH staff:
- Attention to detail, passion for hospitality, and excellent customer service skills at all times.
- Acquire a friendly and energetic personality that inspires repeat customers
- Need to be hospitality orientated
BOH staff:
**Must have kitchen experience**
- Must have solid knowledge of food/beverage in terms of costing, execution, and creative menus
- Must know how to maintain food quality and food safety standards
- Must be organized and be able to maintain a clean work area
- Knowing wine and beer pairings *A PLUS*
- Able to stand on feet for extended periods of time
- Able to grasp, lift, carry up to 50 pounds, as needed
- Able to distinguish product, taste, texture, temperature, presentation, and preparation
