We are currently hiring a Sous Chef. The Sous Chef will assist in managing the line and ensuring the flow of service is efficient and smooth. You are in charge when the Executive Chef is not on-premises. We are looking for a leader who not only has the technical culinary skills but also someone who can teach, mentor, inspire & discipline the kitchen staff.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of experience as a Sous Chef
- Knowledge of and passion for various culinary styles and the ability to easily jump into any station
- A professional, mature, and polished approach to leadership
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; as well as familiarity with Microsoft Office, etc.
- The ability to comfortably lead a team in a busy atmosphere.
- Obsessive attention to details; organization & cleanliness. ServSafe certified is a plus!
