BAYADAÂHome Health CareÂhas an immediate need for a bilingual (Spanish speaking)ÂIntern (unpaid)Âfor ourÂhome healthÂoffice, inÂJersey City, NJ (located one block from the Light Rail!)ÂÂÂThis office services adult and geriatric clients on a per visit basis.ÂAs an Intern for BAYADA, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with ourÂClient Service Managers, Clinical Managers, and Directors to gain valuable insight and experience in the home health care industry.ÂÂÂÂInternship roles provide exposure to the following areas:Ensuring compliance with employee and client chartsParticipate in team meetingsPerform general administrative duties including answering phones, filing, payroll processing and ordering office suppliesWork on special projects as neededGain general knowledge of healthcare managementRequirements include:Currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters Degree programGPA of 3.0 or higherAbility to work 20-25 hours during the hours of Monday through Friday, 8:30 to 5:00 pmInternship hours are flexible around class scheduleÂThis opportunity isÂNOTÂjust a summer internship; must be available during Spring Semester (2019) as wellBilingual - English/SpanishÂAbility to take ownership, set priorities, and meet deadlinesCreative and flexible with the ability to take initiativeWilling to work in an all hands on deck environmentExcellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact well with employees at all levelsDemonstrated leadership and organizational skillsInterest in the healthcare industryÂBAYADA believes that our clients and their families deserve home health care delivered with compassion, excellence, and reliability.
