Seeking an certified biller & coder with at least 7 years of full-time experience for a medical billing start-up based in Northern NJ. This is a position that requires full knowledge of all aspects of medical billing, coding and other revenue management elements.
Would prefer candidates with experience billing in orthopedics, pain management, chiropractic and physical therapy as these are our first providers expected to sign on to our service.
Competitive base pay rate + opportunity for commission & bonuses
Will have the ability to work remotely for first several months
Primary responsibilities:
Develop and implement efficient procedures to initially launch billing, coding and other relevant operations
Identify, implement and manage required electronic business systems
Initiates and answers pertinent correspondence from providers
Prepares operational and financial reports and analysis for clients
Makes appropriate recommendations or conclusions
Maintains required records and files
Monitors daily operating activities and makes suggestions for improved workflow and efficiency
Maintains knowledge of and complies with established policies and procedures including government, insurance and third-party payer regulations
Conducts special projects and studies, as well as other related duties as directed
