A mid-size startup in the skincare industry in Florham Park, NJ is looking for a temp HR Coordinator to support various aspects of the lean HR team. This company is in a hyper growth stage and planning to double headcount in the new year. The companys environment is fast-paced, collaborative and supportive of growth opportunities.
Salary/Hourly Rate: $18-21/hr DOE
Position Overview: With a lean team and aggressive growth plans, the HR Coordinator will support all aspects of HR, including but not limited to day-to-day employee support, general admin, maintaining their internal HRIS, support with onboarding and orientation, and light recruitment. The candidate will play a critical role in creating the best employee experience and build the future of this brand. This position is Monday Friday from 830m 530pm.
Responsibilities of the HR Coordinator:
Onboarding
General support in all day-to-day administrative tasks
Maintain employee information in HRIS system
Process all new hire paperwork, terminations and payroll changes
Support benefits administration, including communication, enrollment and status change
Support various HR programs and initiatives
Recruiting
Assist with recruitment process (job posting, screening, and interview scheduling)
Source for new candidates using LinkedIn and other Jobs Boards
Help create a memorable candidate experience
Qualifications for the HR Coordinator:
1-2 years of work experience in HR
Experience using various HRIS systems
Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Flexible, positive attitude and willingness to learn
Education Requirements:
Bachelors Degree (preferably in Human Resources, Labor & Employee Retention, or Business Administration)
