Currently, we have an opportunity for a Seasonal General Warehouse Worker to help staff our operations warehousing needs in preparation for peak season!
If you enjoy working and learning all of the facets of warehousing and being a key member in our operations team by ensuring our customers receive their orders on time, the role of seasonal general warehouse worker offers some compelling learning opportunities. Your primary duty will be to receive goods from customers and unload/load inventories and goods. Such as, pick, pack, and scan orders to fulfill customer orders per customer requirements.
Role Overview
Receive goods delivered to the warehouse for storage
Unloading the merchandise from the trucks and checking that goods match delivery documents in quantity and without any defects.
Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders.
Properly use equipment in handling, storing, maintaining, and shipping stock.
Report any order discrepancies and confirm order is ready to be shipped out.
Follows job expectations, processes, procedures and requirements as prescribed by corporate guidelines.
Execute routine customer projects, as assigned.
Participate in physical inventory counts, as needed.
Maintains productivity to the established standard (or to maintain a high level of efficiency and effectiveness).
Completes reports or logs by entering required information.
Maintains technical knowledge needed to perform the job.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results.
To be a great candidate for this seasonal general warehouse position, you will have:
Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively verbally.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, late nights and or weekends.
Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods.
