SUMMARY
This full-time Production Technician role is focused on hands-on assembly in a manufacturing environment. The position involves putting together various product components, including upholstery, sewing, spraying, and general assembly tasks. You will follow standardized work instructions, operate production equipment after training, and help ensure all products meet quality and safety requirements. The role offers stable weekday hours, a consistent indoor setting, and opportunities for overtime during peak production periods.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assemble product parts and subcomponents by following current work instructions and training guidelines.
- Perform in-process and final inspections, completing all required quality documentation.
- Safely operate and maintain assigned equipment, tools, and machinery.
- Keep the work area organized, clean, and aligned with safety standards.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and production guidelines.
- Provide temporary support in higher-level assembly roles when needed.
- Complete daily production and quality paperwork with accuracy.
- Perform additional related tasks as assigned by supervisory staff.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Prior experience in assembly, utility, or related manufacturing work suitable for stepping into a Production Technician role.
- Ability to learn and operate manufacturing equipment after training.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and consistency.
- Dependable, self-motivated work ethic with the ability to work individually or with a team.
- Ability to read and follow instructions, procedures, and required paperwork.
- Effective verbal communication skills.
- Commitment to safe work habits and alignment with company values.
- Ability to stand for most of the shift and lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable with repetitive movements, reaching, grasping, and occasional ladder use, kneeling, or crouching.
