Description
A New Jersey social media agency is looking to engage a part-time social media specialist to assist with a variety of digital communications tasks. This role would be 100% remote, targeting 25-30 hours per week with potential to extend the job to full time. Hours are flexible to some extent.

Responsibilities
Social media skillset and web writing skills to create and oversee social media content
Social calendar planning and execution
Community management and social monitoring
Content publishing to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and other media
Creating and posting engaging content across client’s social media accounts and responding to any comments.
Creating strategic content calendars every month that covers social, blogging and email
Experience producing digital content, including photography and video.
Knowledge of social media analytical tools and how to use these to produce insightful reports.
Skills
Strong writing, grammar, and communication skills
Social media savvy
High attention to detail and ability to respond quickly
Multi-tasking expertise with understanding of how to prioritize for company results
Well organized and efficient
Experience using content management systems and ability to learn new ones
Experience managing multiple client projects
Experience working with photography, video and Photoshop a plus
Ability to communicate directly with clients and take responsibility to learn and perform tasks assigned to you
Preferred
o Experience running paid campaign on Facebook Business Manager and Instagram
o Campaign creation, monitoring, reporting, and optimization (Facebook Ads)
o Basic skill with graphic design and video editing; experience with Canva a plus
o Digital marketing experience
Requirements
2+ years of social media management experience is a MUST
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Communications (or related field) - Preferred
