Prudent Publishing Company, Inc., Established in 1929 and leading manufacturer of premium quality paper products for the corporate marketplace known as The Gallery Collection®, has the following long term seasonal opportunities at our manufacturing facility in Landing, NJ.
Machine Operators - Salary: $14.00 per Hour
Job Purpose: Set up and operate a one-person printing press
Responsibilities:
* Follow established procedures for printing our products
* Contribute to team effort by meeting or exceeding production goals
* Adhere to safety procedures while operating press
* Perform other duties as assigned
Skills/Qualifications:
* Manual dexterity, attention to detail and good hand and eye coordination is a must
* Ability to stand for long periods of time
* Ability to lift or move 40 - 45 pounds is required
* Mechanical and or computer experience a plus
* Willingness to work overtime essential â up to 3 hours of overtime Monday - Friday
* Weekend hours during peak season â October â December
Shifts:
From now through July the work schedule is 36 hours a week (Monday â Thursday). In August we expand to 5 days a week for a 40 hour work week (Monday - Friday).
Hours: 7:00 am - 4:30 pm
