Established in 1929, Prudent Publishing Co. is the leading mail order publisher of premium quality personalized greeting cards in the U.S. We have the following long term seasonal opportunity at our manufacturing facility in Landing, NJ to join our Press Operator Team.
Machine Press Operators
Job Purpose: Set up and operate a one-person printing press
Responsibilities:
Follow established procedures for printing our products
Contribute to team effort by meeting or exceeding production goals
Adhere to safety procedures while operating press
Perform other duties as assigned
Skills/Qualifications:
Manual dexterity, attention to detail and good hand and eye coordination is a must
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to lift or move 40 - 45 pounds is required
Mechanical experience a plus
Willingness to work overtime essential
Weekend hours during peak season – October – December
Salary: $14.00 plus 10% Shift Differential = $15.40 Per Hour
Shift:
Monday thru Thursday, from 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM thru the end of September.
Work 32 hours per week and get paid for 36 Hours!
Beginning in October, Monday thru Friday, from 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM thru Mid-December. 40 hour workweek.
