Pony Power Therapies is a non profit organization giving special needs and at-risk children and adults a unique opportunity to ride, care for and interact with horses. Pony Power has full time professionals executing sessions and relies on a formidable volunteer base to support programming as lead walkers for horses, side walkers for riders and farm crew to care for our horses and small animals.
Job responsibilities include: managing the lifespan of a volunteer from inquiry to processing, training, scheduling, session execution, retaining for future semesters. Minimum skills include: strong organizational ethic; strong computer skills working with Salesforce (training included); strong Word, Excel, and Outlook proficiency; social media competency; excellent communication skills over the phone, in writing and in person managing a volunteer crew. Must be a team player and able to work in a fast paced, ever changing environment. Love of horses, unique individuals, and four seasons is a must.
