This candidate knows how to coordinate work that is generated by the Superintendent and Building Manager by assist with overseeing workers and contractors. In addition, this candidate has the ability to think globally and keep management at the office in the loop. Must have experience with technology ie. be able to take before and after pictures, upload them to software, update work orders with work done.
This position is great for some one who is looking for long term employment with stability.
Day to Day Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Assist with service requests & turnovers, including scheduling and ensuring completion.
Assist with managing his/her porter.
Maintain accurate records of work on either smart phone or iPad.
Inspect property regularly, note deficiencies and take corrective action.
Respond to emergency situations during non-work hours.
Competencies, Skills & Abilities:
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Advanced knowledge of building mechanicals, boilers, repairs in carpentry, electric, plumbing, painting, taping & spackle, etc.
Must have own tools.
Must have the ability to successfully interact with tenants in a professional manner.
Must have basic computer skills to use an iPad or smart phone.
Spanish Speaking is a plus!
