Looking for junior to mid-level IT Support Tech with network administration and desktop support skills to join growing MSP/Cloud Services group. Part time leading to possible full time depending on performance. Must have experience with the following skillset:
- Windows 7/10 - Installation/Configuration/Administration
- Windows Server 2012 - Knowledge of Active Directory domains, user administration
- General knowledge of networking concepts - Firewalls/Switches/Routers and their network roles
- General knowledge of virtual environments and storage resources (NAS/SAN) (Vmware)
- General knowledge of DHCP/DNS/IIS/SQL
- MSOffice all versions
- Troubleshooting Hardware/software - computer/laptop peripherals/components/printers (local & network) installations
- Resourceful problem solver, good communication skills, must have own car and clean license/backround
The candidate will be filling the role of the daily network operations manager and client support tech. Your day to day will consist of monitoring/logging backups, identifying issues from logs, network monitoring, troubleshooting and resolving network issues, responding to client support (logging tickets) on-site and remotely, and dealing with vendors when necessary. Must be able to travel occasionally within the tri-state area to client sites. Looking for someone enthusiastic, professional, and willing to learn about cloud computing concepts and virtual environments. There is a lot to learn and much experience to gain.
