A biotech services company supporting local research institutions and biotech companies is looking for motivated candidates to join our growing team. Located in Union, New Jersey, our lab is looking for a full-time Sales Representative for our oligonucleotide synthesis and Sanger sequencing services. We are looking for candidates to work 40 hours per week, within the hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday-Friday. Hours may vary slightly depending on daily workload and travel requirements.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
⢠Design and implement sales and marketing strategies in assigned region
⢠Establish new accounts in assigned regions
⢠Maintain relationships with current accounts within assigned region
⢠Draft and implement service agreements
⢠Determine and issue quotes for new or out-dated accounts
⢠Produce monthly sales reports
⢠Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of services and working knowledge of pertinent service protocols
Qualifications:
⢠Bachelors degree in biological sciences is preferred
⢠Laboratory experience (academic or professional) is preferred but not required
⢠0-1 years of sales experience
⢠Strong verbal and written communication skills
⢠Ability to maintain interpersonal relationships with clients and build a network within the assigned region
⢠Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time - mostly within NJ and NY, however other out of state neighboring regions may need to be traveled to
