20 year old Construction company , (excavating, asphalt, concrete)seeks salesperson for a full time positon. Maintenance of roads, parking lots and sidewalks is the number one concern for liabilities with commercial property owners and cities.

Our vision and plan is very unique for the industry and there endless possibilities.

You will be Cold calling and get through gate keepers in order to set appointments with high end.

o Property managers

o Property owners.

o Municipal and state superintendents.

o Construction companies.

There is no limit to your compensation level and the work sold also a means of yearly repeat business.

Because the industry has peaks when sales and opportunities are abundant, the applicant cant be limited in the hours they work or It needs to be spelled out. The right person who can be self-motivated and not limited will receive almost every opportunity.

The company is very aggressive with marketing creating the opportunities.

The applicant must be computer literate and understand the use of a crm. If not fully experienced or willing to learn the benefits of using a crm for follow up's and opportunities, the job really would not be for them.

Qualifications:

experienced, especially with cold calling and b2b.

superior communications skills

You have the ability to exercise your own judgment and discretion while working independently

Base salary plus commission,

A salesman with no construction experience can expect to make $50 to $75K but there are no limits to great closers and motivated salesman.

Someone who has all the tools and experience will easily see 6 figures.

There will be recurring commissions on companies that sign up for maintenance plans.

Benefit plan, 401K, Paid vacations and holidays

Must be willing and able to work the required full-time schedule, Monday through Friday and some weekend time when clients require .

Office is in Clifton NJ. Work area is mostly a 20 mile radius. (rarely in NYC.)

(by the way, very casual atmosphere.)

Huge opportunity for advancement as we could see multiple saleperson needed and the opportunity to become a sales manager as well.

My feeling is anyone in the sales business must be willing to put the hours in necessary to keep the sales cyle going. when there is a plan for the day or week and incoming sales leads keeps you busy, there should be an effort to complete the entire follow up process as well, even If it means longer hours or working at home etc.

There again could be no limit to compensation.
