Finish Trim Carpenter (Hillsborough)
Compensation: Salary range is $25 - $43 an hour and will be based on skill level and experience. Company vehicle possible. Salary is paid on the books and workmans compensation is covered.

PLEASE.Before reading on. I am NOT looking for anyone other than a FINISH TRIM CARPENTER. I am NOT looking for a handyman, a helper, a mason, an architect, a tile guy, a drywall installer, home designer, insulation installer or a project manager. It's great that you have other skills but this position is for an interior finish trim carpenter. I apologize for having to state the obvious but this is not the first time posting this ad and on average, only about 1 in 20 who responded have the requested qualifications. Work is perfect for the freelancer, per diem / part time, 8a to 430p, Monday - Friday, up to 12 days a month, sometimes more, with 1-2 weeks advance notice for days needed. Work load has the potential to increase and has been steadily on the rise. This position is perfect for those who freelance themselves or have another part time job. Reliability is paramount. I can not stress this enough. Your dedication, reliability and longevity will be compensated through annual raises.
I am looking to hire a motivated individual to work with a great crew and relaxed owner as a finish trim carpenter in occupied, upscale, residential homes at various locations in New Jersey. Most work is around the central Jersey area but expands to north and south Jersey. Business has been up and running steady for 18 years. Salary is $25-$43 an hour and will be based on Skill, Experience and Longevity.
Work includes the installation of crown molding, wainscoting, raised panels, mantels, doors and built-in units. Mandatory skills are reliability, the ability to measure accurately, transfer of measurements with accurate cutting and experience as a FINISH TRIM CARPENTER. I offer Workmans Comp insurance to all of my employees so you won't have to worry about paying for a 10-99 at the end of the year. I will cover all of these costs.
All tools and equipment provided but you're welcome to use or bring whatever you are used to working with. I will never tell you that you have to do things my way as long as the quality of the outcome is the same.
