RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client seeking a Princeton, NJ.
Summary:
The Business Analyst position functions as an integral member within business units throughout the company and assist Product Owners in the definition, documentation, and tracking of business requirements. Working with the Product Owner, the incumbent engages the Strategic Business Unit (SBU), Functional Centers of Excellence (FCE), and Information Technology (IT) teams to develop the scope of work necessary to support a proposal, identify delivery solutions, develop cost estimates, and participate in request responses to clients, demonstrating the client's capabilities and proposed solutions. The Business Analyst acts as a consultant and source of knowledge in specialized fields.
Responsibilities:
Elicit product business requirements and articulate as epics and features
Facilitate meetings for requirements in storyboarding, design, and refinement sessions
Drive requirements analysis and prioritization
Collaborate closely with IT and other FCEs to translate new product, or product change requests into a set of requirements
Direct development activities, manage, maintain and clarify business requirements, and support test case development
Manage product backlogs actively with the Product Owner
Assist in creation of user stories documentation and general coordination of building out the product
Adhere to ethical standards and comply with the laws and regulations applicable to the job function
Working with Product Owner to develop UAT plans and coordinate execution plans across FCE teams
Overseeing execution of test cases within defined schedule
REQUIREMENTS:
Experience using JIRA is required
Experience using Zephyr is required
Writing creating UAT plans and writing test cases for user acceptance testing is required
Sound judgement, relationship management and excellent communication and presentation skills
Strong planning skills
