Description We are in search of a Cost Accounting Manager to join our team in Secaucus, New Jersey. This role is central to our operations, focusing on the management of cost-related accounting functions within our organization. The successful candidate will be instrumental in CapEx, DCAA, ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, ERP Solutions, and Hyperion Technologies.Responsibilities: Manage all aspects of cost accounting functions including the preparation and analysis of cost reports Oversee the implementation and use of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions to streamline accounting processes Utilize Hyperion Technologies for financial management and reporting Engage in budget processes to ensure accurate costing and financial planning Monitor and manage CapEx (Capital Expenditure) to optimize asset-related decisions Comply with Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) regulations and standards Take part in 'About Time' activities to ensure timely completion of accounting tasks Review and analyze accounting data to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy Work closely with other departments to ensure the smooth running of all accounting functions Continuously review and improve cost accounting practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Requirements Must have a strong understanding of Cost Accounting principles and practices Proven experience with CapEx (Capital Expenditure) management Familiarity with DCAA (Defense Contract Audit Agency) regulations and procedures Proficiency in ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems and ERP Solutions Experience with Hyperion Technologies is essential Knowledge of time management software, specifically About Time Skilled in handling various Accounting Functions Experience with Budget Processes, including planning, monitoring, and adjustment Demonstrated ability in Costing, including the calculation of production costs and overheads Excellent communication and leadership skills Must have a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field. Advanced degrees or certifications such as CPA, CMA, or MBA are a plus Must have strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Must have the ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively in a team environment Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Must have strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization Must demonstrate a high level of integrity and professionalism.
