Plan, coordinate and grade parcels identified as exceptions that require additional value added services before shipping, or returning with an emphasis on accuracy while maintaining acceptable service level. Parcels may contain Dangerous Goods (DG), requiring compliance with IATA DG by Air regulations.
Interface with Pitney Bowes Compliance Team to source needed information and resolve outstanding issues.
Coordinate both DG and Non DG parcels to ship per assigned carriers
Your background:As a Warehouse Parcel Sorter II , you have:
The ability to pass testing for Forklift and IATA Dangerous Goods by Air certification
Excellent computer skills with high proficiency using multiple operating systems
Experience in shipping/receiving
The ability to lift up to 50 lbs. walk, stand, stoop, and bend 80% of the time with or without accommodations.
A basic enough understanding of English to be able to understand and follow safety and other operational directions communicated in English, irrespective of their native language.
The ability to work overtime which may include weekends, holidays and or a different shift with little or no advance notice.
