K&A Engineering Our engineering group provides a comprehensive portfolio of professional design, assessment and consulting services with a belief that buildings should be cost-effective to build and operate, be energy-efficient and sustainable, and provide a safe and healthy environment for their occupants.
The Basics We are currently looking to add to our team. At present, we are seeking a Senior Mechanical (HVAC) Engineer with a minimum ten years of experience designing systems for commercial, educational, healthcare and multifamily buildings. The successful candidate will be a seasoned and competent engineering project manager, capable of designing and engineering a project from initial concept through completed construction. Commissioning, energy efficiency design and modeling is a definite plus.
The Requirements
Degree in Architectural Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
Knowledge of applicable codes and standards
Knowledge of sustainable building technologies, methods and practices
Broad experience in the design and engineering of a variety of HVAC systems
Proven track record of success managing multiple projects simultaneously
Professional technical writing skills
Demonstrated proficiency designing in a BIM environment
PE license is required
LEED accreditation is a definite plus, but not a requirement

The Small Print Salary commensurate with experience. Additionally, the position comes with an excellent benefits package. A valid drivers license is required for this position. Our offices are located in the historic Zane School Office Building, just two blocks from the Collingswood PATCO station. From there, it takes all of 10 minutes to get to Center City, Philadelphia.
