Our client in Vineland, NJ is seeking an experienced Project Architect for their facility. This is a 1st shift, full-time, Direct Hire opportunity! Competitive salary offered with a benefits package commensurate with experience.
The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, creative, focused, highly organized and looking to increase their technical skills and further their professional development. The companys hands-on approach to client interaction and design requires communication regularly with clients, consultants, and project team members.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
Schematic design, presentation drawings, construction documents, site surveys, and photography
Preparing architectural construction documents and renderings
Engineering coordination
Code analysis (both zoning & building) and construction administration
Adapting to change within a fast-paced work environment
Required Qualifications:
BS or BA in Architecture
At least 3 years of professional experience
Strong design portfolio required
Proficient in AutoCAD, Sketch Up, Photoshop and Microsoft Office
Ability to consistently, professionally and reliably, produce Schematic, DD and Construction Drawings in collaboration with a team
Knowledge of building codes and ability to locate applicable references within current cod
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet aggressive deadlines
Experience of being part of a team putting together sets of drawings
Experience coordinating MEP + Structural Engineering
Strong written & verbal communication skills
Strong desire to become a stakeholder in project development
Must be a self-starter who is comfortable achieving results with minimal supervision
