Hello, I run a successful/expanding food truck/trailer business in SJ. We sell our products at festivals and at the private catering sector of the business. I am looking for 1 potentially 2 able bodied people that want to make on weekends. It would be great if one person has GRILL/COOKING experience, if someone has driven/hitched up/ towed a trailer it would be a GREAT MATCH person There is a bit of work during the week but really the commitment is for the weekends, as much of the work/jobs are done on the weekends (again during the week jobs seem to be popping up more and more as the business grows for sure, but because of Covid I am focusing on weekend jobs). During the week commitment is not mandatory. Our season really kicks into high gear in April-November
PS I have been told by all/many who have worked for me over the years that I am a good guy to work forI put my employees firstPlease note I am a legal employer in the State of NJ.
Here is what I am looking for
1. The people must not looking for a full time job.
2. They are content picking up as much work as I can give them.
3. The people must be adult!responsible, and also an "early riser", so drinkers/partiers this isn't the job for you.
4. Ideally, the person already has income or doesn't need to work every day. The vending position is for work that is sometimes (but not all the time)weather depending
5. From my past hires I have learned that if you are in fact looking for an actual job/career, this probably isn't for you, and you probably aren't the right fit for me ( I cannot provide work every single day, although I may be looking to do this in the future, this would be part of the position ).
6. There is also some lifting involved, so if that is an issue please do not respond.
7. I need a RELIABLE person ,and they must have a valid NJ Drivers License and a working cell phone.
8. Our storage unit is located in Berlin, so ideally, the person lives locally/close by
9. Please tell me a little about yourself in your reply( experience, etc.) Pay is $15 per hour (to startroom for advancement once we commit to each other and your role becomes a little more defined) out in the field (at events) plus tips (Easily could
wind up with $30 per hour during operation )
10. I am looking for someone who WANTS TO WORK, AND IS COMPETENT YOU KNOW YOURSELF Please don't waste my time if you are not. Note THERE IS A BIT OF LIFTING INVOLVED
