We are looking for a highly energetic, enthusiastic, friendly and detail oriented and most importantly reliable person to add to our medical practice office.
Front Desk Receptionist Essential Functions:
Provides professional customer service by greeting patients and guest warmly and courteously.
Obtains, verifies and scans necessary demographic and insurance information, referrals, precertifications and testing results.
Reviews, updates and communicates physician schedule status (cancellations, no shows, reschedules and add-ons).
Schedules or reschedules patient appointments as necessary
Keeps management informed of changes in work flow processes, issues or concerns affecting productivity.
Accurately documents patient accounts of all actions taken
Interacts professionally with other employees, customers and suppliers
Maintains strictest confidentiality; adhering to all HIPAA guidelines/regulations
Regular and punctual attendance is required
Completes additional projects, duties and tasks as assigned by manager
Skills and Qualifications:
Multi-tasking in Fast Paced Enviornment, Flexibility, Telephone Skills, Customer Service, Time Management, Organization, Attention to Detail, Scheduling, Professionalism, Quality Focus, Medical terminology knowledge, and experience with Navinet, EMR Program (preferably Nextech) and Microsoft Office with knowledge in Excel is highly desired.
Duration: Full/Part Time, Regular, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
Working Hour per Week: 40 hour(s) or less (Part time)
