Vacancy expired!
Hi there! My name is Pace and I'm looking for the following home health LPN position for myself, a 39-year-old male with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, confined to wheelchair and bed with little physical mobility in need of full assistance. I'm on a ventilator 24/7(able to tolerate breathing on own for transferring).
EXPERIENCE PREFERRED. NEW GRADS WELCOME NURSING AGENCY IS PREFERRED HOME HEALTH. RELAXED HOME ENVIRONMENT AND PLENTY OF DOWN TIME!
LPN/RN: Various evening and day shifts available, please contact me for specifics. Duties include administering medication via G-tube or orally, trach suctioning, feeding orally, repositioning, occasional dressing and transferring to and from wheelchair w/Hoyer lift or sliding technique, occasional errand within a few miles. ADLs like food preparation, occasionally MY laundry and a few dishes, sweeping and dusting my area(bedroom) for my respiratory health. I have my own wheelchair accessible mini-van. When my wife and I aren't relaxing at home, we like to go out to eat and to the movies, or a museum and so forth. (Preferred will train a couple days for trach/vent certification and I'm willing to train for my specific needs.) Once again these are my POSSIBLE needs, be prepared for plenty of down time.
Note: The state doesn't allow me to have a CNA because of my trach/vent, which is why I require the few extra duties listed.
YOU MUST HAVE AN LPN LICENSE If you are interested in this position please contact myself, Pacien Cunningham @ (818)321-2480 (cell). You may call or text anytime before 10:00pm.
