Premier private optometry practice seeks an ophthalmic assistant. We provide advanced eye care in the areas of cataract and refractive surgery, cornea and external disease, anterior segment, glaucoma, and medical and optical family eye care for patients of all ages. Our caring staff sets the tone for the patients experience from first contact to the last. We seek someone who is smart, friendly and caring and we can teach you the rest!
Responsibilities and Duties
Lead by example to create concierge level service for patients at the front desk, on the telephone and in patient testing. Duties involve all aspects of front office coordination, scheduling, check in/out, insurance verification, optical ordering, billing and dispensing as well as physician assistance including significant automated instrument patient pre-testing. Electronic medical records and office management systems utilized so computer skills are essential.
