This is a part-time position with a schedule that consists of nights, weekends and holidays. 30+ hours guaranteed a week.
Our Associates are responsible for providing aid and assistance to all customers who enter the store. When not helping a customer, the associate ensures his/her assigned department is clean and the shelves are stocked.
Essential Functions
Provides a high level of prompt and friendly customer service
Makes product recommendations and suggestions to aid customers with purchases
Fills the shelves from beer (sometimes wine) stacks
Rotates and faces product
Cleans and dusts wines/shelves when not assisting customers
Gives customers direction of product location throughout the store and escorts them to the merchandise and throughout the store, if needed
Maintains excellent communication with store management team and front end at all times
General good housekeeping
Helps with inventory counts when necessary
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Provide excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude are essential to interact with customers and employees
Working knowledge of beer/wine preferred
Strong communication skills; outgoing and friendly demeanor
Reliable and dependable; ability to follow direction
Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates
Ability to provide and receive constructive feedback
Ability to perform repetitious activities
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and stay organized
Ability to stay calm in a stressful situation
Ability to stand, bend, reach, push, and pull regularly
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Must be 19+ years old
- High School education or equivalent (college student preferred)
