Job Title: Retail & Food Sales Position
Duties and Responsibilities (includes the following but not limited to):
Provide excellent customer service to customers at Market counter
Stock and rotate retail products
Stock supplies and paper goods in a timely basis
Take and prepare food orders as needed, cut and package cheeses
Package bulk items for retail sales
Inform customers of new products
Initiate suggestive selling and sampling of products
Complete opening and closing duties according to company standards
Maintain cleanliness of The Market
Ensure safe operating procedures of all equipment, utensils and machinery
Follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products
Maintain the highest level of standards in product display and preparation
Additional duties and projects as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
At least one year of experience and/or training in the Prepared Foods industry preferred, but not required
Reliable, punctual, and committed to customer service
Able to follow instructions and established procedures
Able to multitask and work well under pressure
Possess excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers, team members, and leadership
Neat and clean in appearance
Flexible availability with ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays
Ability to stand and walk for 6 hours and lift up to 25lbs
Compensation based on experience. PT/FT
