Joshua Motor Car Company is seeking a dedicated, hardworking, and motivated individual to fill this open Automotive Sales Position at our pre-owned car dealership in Pennsauken, NJ.
Automobile Salesperson Job Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Be the first point of contact between customers and the dealership.
Understand the needs and interests of the customer, and matching them to the most appropriate car.
Taking customers on test drives and demonstrating vehicle features.
Demonstrate features and options on all vehicles in inventory
Answer basic questions about financing and other optional financial products
Promote the company’s service and finance department with buyers to ensure customer loyalty
Assisting customers with completing the relevant paperwork required for a successful sale to be processed.
Perform vehicle delivery for buyers after a purchase has been completed
Maintaining reporting structures and recording sales and inventory on our CRM software.
Maintaining a customer database and routinely follow up with buyers to ensure continued satisfaction
Cold call prospective buyers to generate new business when necessary
Assist in setting up the sales lot or the showroom floor for promotions and to put new models on display
Automobile Salesperson Skills and Qualifications:
Previous sales or customer service experience preferred (Auto sales a plus)
Knowledge of automotive industry and technical aspects of vehicles advantageous
An associate's degree or a high school diploma.
A professional appearance, friendly manner, and positive attitude.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong customer service and negotiation skills.
Understanding of financing and basic mathematics skills
Time management skills and willingness to take the initiative
Ability to work holidays and weekends
Strong computer skills required
Must have current and valid driver’s license, and clean driving and criminal records for employment
