Small, laid back Grooming Salon
in Burlington County is looking for either
a part time groomer
OR
a part time bather/brusher.
Experienced Groomer
should be over 18 and have 1-2 years experience, but more is preferred. You should own your own tools, have reliable transportation, be able to stand, kneel, lift 50 lbs (and team lift heavier), be focused on safety, and have a genuine care for the dog's comfort. Our hours are 9 to 4ish Monday thru Saturday. Saturdays are a required. Which other weekdays you work, is flexible. Sundays off, except the week or 2 before a major holiday. Please provide your training, work history, and some pictures of your favorite grooms you've done.

should be 18 or older, with animal handling experience is preferred,
but we will train the right person.
No, washing your own dog at home doesn't count.
Must have: reliable transportation, be able to stand, kneel, lift up to 50 lbs alone and team lift over 50 lbs, and be willing to get wet and hairy. Should be a self-starter, self-motivated, and take instruction well. Can't be overly shy or overly squeamish about blood, poop, vomit, loud noise, cleaning, music, dog kisses, big dogs, little dogs, barking, dog hair, etc. Our hours are 9 to 4ish Monday thru Saturday, but you can probably leave by 2 on weekdays (after all the dogs are washed). Saturdays are a must. Which weekdays you work, is flexible/negotiable. Sundays off, except the week of a major holiday. This is a fun but intense job. There is a lot to learn. If you work as a bather/brusher for a while and do well, there is potential to be trained as a full Stylist.
