Shift / Hours:
• 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• 4, 10 hour shifts per week
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
• Drill truck frames to bolt accessories and special mounts to chassis
• Measure and relocate components, such as battery boxes and taillights
• Assemble and install mechanical and electrical sub-assemblies
• Assemble and install hydraulic lines, fittings, and hoses
• Run electrical harnesses into truck cabs and make electrical connections to truck chassis
• Assist in the installation and removal of lift-gates
Job Requirements:
• Exceptional mechanical skills with working knowledge of common tools and equipment used in the mechanic field
• Experience with 12volt automotive wiring (e.g., wiring relays, running heavy gauge battery cables, etc.)
• Ability read a tape measure and convert fractions to the decimal equivalents
• MIG welding and metal working experience is considered a plus
