Can you investigate complex situations and propose solutions? We're looking for someone like that to:– lead a team of experienced internal IT auditors, all of whom will be carrying out a mixture of audit project management and fieldwork activities, as well as ongoing detailed risk assessments of the Global Wealth Management US business and associated technology– lead audits to consistently high standards and deliver complex/difficult messages to senior UBS management, winning cooperation and support for effective issue remediation– perform a hands-on role both by managing and participating in high profile audits, whilst also managing the productivity and development of a global team of direct reports– engage pro-actively with stakeholders, building relationships based on transparency and trust– monitor the results, risk profile and developments within Global Wealth Management US as well as Group Technology as part of the macro risk assessment and continuous risk assessment processesYour team:You’ll be working in Group Internal Audit (GIA) in Weehawken (NJ). We are an independent function that supports UBS in achieving its strategic, operational, financials and compliance objectives. We do this by assessing key processes as well as governance, risk management, and the control environment within all business divisions globally. We are independent in our work and report directly to the Chairman of the Board and the Audit Committee.GIA's structure consists of divisional and functional audit teams throughout the world, reflecting UBS's business structure. We are looking for an outstanding professional to join our dynamic global Application IT Audit organization in Weehawken (NJ) as Global Wealth Management US IT Audit Team Leader. In this role you will leverage your understanding to plan, perform and report the results of Global Wealth Management US IT audits.Your expertise:You have:– extensive experience in audit, technology, internal risk management or similar areas within the financial industry– very good understanding of the financial market, of operational aspects and process flows within and between banks / counterparts and underlying technologies, as well as regulatory requirements.– strong analytical skills, able to quickly understand complex processes, identify risks and inadequacies in procedures, as well as propose practical and sustainable solutions– excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate at different levels of an organization both verbally and in writing, together with the ability to multi-task effectively and deliver multiple complex assignments to time and budget– the ability to deliver consistently high quality written output including contribution to risk assessments, governance reports and audit reports and issue documentsYou are:– a proven and committed leader with a track record of coaching and inspiring team members to achieve their potential– experienced in working collaboratively across a wider global team– risk focused and able to manage your own and team deliverables on time and to a high standard– curious and willing to discover all aspects of the bank, with the ambition to advance your career in an international environment.– able to work independently as well as to supervise, lead and motivate a team in the execution of audit assignments to deliver on time, within budget and in accordance with internal audit methodology– fluent in English– CISA, CISSP, CIA certifications would be an assetAbout us:Expert advice.
