Job Position: Python Cloud Application Developer Location: Weehawken, NJ/Hybrid [3 days onsite & 2 days Remote] No. of openings: 4 Immediate Interview/ Start Day one onsite: Our Challenge As a Python Cloud Application Developer, you will work on digital, data-driven transformation initiatives alongside data scientists, DevOps engineers and other developers. You will help visualize, design and build the core data platforms and services based on a data mesh approach, using proven best practices and modern tech stacks. We're constantly looking for talented engineers across Cloud, Infrastructure, DevOps and Security, among others to add to our growing team in London. Design, build, test and deploy the core platform for a new data-mesh driven approach to data management
Participate and contribute to pod and crew agile ceremonies
Prioritize and deliver against a defined Backlog of Epics
Review and demonstrate solutions with stakeholders and aligned agile pods
Requirements You are:
An experienced Python developer used to delivery on a public cloud platform (preferably Azure)
Knowledgeable of object-oriented programming
Used to creating and managing containers and container orchestration through Kubernetes, ideally AKS
Able to work in an Agile environment, using CI/CD pipelines and tooling such as Gitlab
Equipped with a working knowledge of workflow orchestration platforms, for example Airflow or Dagster
Comfortable working with global, diverse, cross-functional teams, and can develop and nurture good working relationships
A strong decision-maker with excellent problem-solving, analytical and interpersonal skills
An excellent written and verbal communicator
It would be great if you also have:
A background in financial services, banking and large enterprise environments
Any experience in Data Management, Machine Learning or Artificial Intelligence.
