Description

Qualifications:
• Must have at least 3 years of experience in Flutter development
• Solid understanding of Flutter (2.5 and above), Dart, Flutter for web, Flutter for desktop (Windows, macOS), Flutter UI and animations
• Must have two or more iOS/Android apps developed with Flutter. Either deployed on the AppStore/Google Play or available on GitHub
• Must have experience working with Firebase
• Should have experience working with native technologies like Android (Kotlin), iOS (Swift)
• Experience in working with remote data via web services, REST, XML, GraphQL, and JSON
• Experience in working with devices' location (GPS) and push notification services
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs integration
• Experience with automated testing and building
• Experience with Git, Jenkins, or other version control tools
• Demonstrated experience in building and managing production mobile apps
• Expert troubleshooting skills
• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
• Understanding of the Agile development life-cycle
• Ability to write readable code, create extensive documentation for existing code, and refactor the previously written code into readable state
Responsibilities:
• Design & implement new app modules based on the project requirements to create high-volume, low-latency, and mission-critical multi-platform apps for iOS/Android, web, and desktop using Flutter Framework
• Micro code enhancements within mobile platforms like Android/iOS Flutter widgets for iOS and Android
• Participation in the process of analysis, designing, implementation and testing of new apps
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Optimize app performance for speed and scalability
• Implement security and data protection measures
• Review, refactor and maintain codebases
• Distribute apps to testing, staging and production
• Investigate alternatives and technologies and present them for architectural review, in order to support continuous improvement

Requirements

Beneficial/Preferred:

  • Work experience in iOS / Android (Java/Kotlin and Objective-C/Swift)
  • Experience with OAuth, SSO, CAS (Central Authentication System), and Shibboleth (Federated Auth)
  • Familiarity with web application development and different client-server communication protocols.
  • Knowledge on iOS distribution profiles and certificates for App store distribution
  • Experience with React.js and Node.js
  • UI/UX tools experience
  • Desire to work both in-person and remote environment, able to self-manage and work remotely
  • Good communication skills in English
