Working with children of different ages - we have two year old's through preK, and K - 8th for extended care. We have various positions from 7 am - 6 pm. Must pass a background check and be willing to take some training. Job Summary:
We are seeking a caring, energetic, and dependable Part-Time Preschool Teacher Aide to support the lead teacher in providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for young children. The ideal candidate enjoys working with children, promotes learning through play, and assists in maintaining an organized and positive classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the lead teacher in implementing daily lesson plans and classroom activities.
Supervise and interact with children during playtime, learning sessions, meals, and rest periods.
Support students individually and in groups to reinforce learning and encourage social development.
Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment.
Assist with toileting, handwashing, and other hygiene routines as needed.
Monitor behavior and guide children using positive discipline techniques.
Set up and clean up materials for activities and meals.
Communicate effectively with staff and report any concerns regarding children’s development or behavior.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (required)
Experience working with preschool-aged children (preferred)
Patience, reliability, and a positive attitude
Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
