Description

SAIC is seeking an experienced and self-driven

Alternate Contractor Program Security Officer (A/CPSO) to join a team of highly motivated and diverse professionals on-site at the SAIC contractor location and at

Kirtland AFB, New Mexico.

The ACPSO will assist the CPSO to ensure government compliance and successful program operations. The CPSO team provides security guidance to all personnel (to include subcontractors and suppliers) and will be assigned various sites to include Kirtland AFB (NM), Schriever Air Force Base (CO), and other associated facilities within the SAIC network.

Key duties and/or responsibilities are to include, but are not limited to:
  • Personnel Security (PERSEC) processing, to include pre-screens, Special Access Program (SAP) package preparation, enterprise service support ticketing, initiating, maintaining and terminating security clearances in the Defense Information System for Security (DISS), and SAIC's Security Information Management Systems (SIMS)
  • Conduct security indoctrinations/debriefings, Security Awareness Training and Education (SATE), Operations Security (OPSEC), and other security related briefings
  • Investigate security incidents and violations; prepare reports of investigations for the corporation and customers, making specific recommendations for corrective and preventive actions
  • Author and implement security planning documentation, such as OPSEC, Standard Practices and Procedures (SPP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and other related plans in accordance with contract requirements
  • Assist with security inspections/self-inspections, meeting preparation, employee and visitor badging, circulation control, general facility management, and flexibility to provide surge support for other security functions when needed across the team
  • Ensure compliance with the prime DD-254, subcontractor DD-254s, and applicable classification guides

ACPSO must have operated to multiple security manuals, to include the 32 Code of Federal Regulation (CFR) Part 117/NISPOM, DoD 5205.07, and Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs) necessary to operate in a secure environment with intelligence community customers and business partners.

Qualifications

Qualifications:
  • Active Top Secret U.S. Government security clearance with SCI Eligibility
  • 3-5 years of Facility Security Officer experience in government and/or industrial security
  • Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) FSO certification with possessing curriculum within one year of hiring
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the design and execution of security programs in accordance with 32 Code of Federal Regulation (CFR) Part 117/NISPOM
  • Familiarity with DoD 5205.07
  • Proficient in understanding Intelligence Community Directives with an emphasis on ICD-705 (Physical Security)
  • Ability to manage time, make sound decisions, take independent action, analyze problems and provide focused solutions
  • High degree of professionalism and attention to detail
  • Excellent office application skills to include Microsoft Excel, Word, and Powerpoint
  • HS diploma
  • Bachelor's degree and six (6) years of related experience; Masters and four (4) years or more experience; PhD and 0 years related experience; experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree
