This individual will manage an energetic team responsible for overseeing compliance risk in consumer credit card customer-facing business units and channels, including monitoring the execution of business and regulatory changes, and relevant issue and complaint data. The ideal candidate should be highly skilled in analyzing and synthesizing information in a practical, actionable way, and should be able to communicate effectively with first line of defense and second line of defense partners in a fast-paced environment. This position will entail supervising the analysis of compliance controls, assisting the business lines in control design when needed, and reporting progress in control improvement and corrective action. Accountable for an effective partnership between the Line of Business and the Lines of Defense.Qualifications:Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
Ten or more years of experience in an applicable risk management environment
Applicable certifications
Preferred Skills/Experience
Expert knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, financial services, and regulatory trends that impact their assigned line of business
Expert knowledge of the business line’s operations, products/services, systems, and associated risks/controls
Advanced knowledge of Risk/Compliance/Audit competencies
Strong leadership and management skills of processes, projects and people
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical, problem-solving and negotiation skills
-Experience with agile methodology preferred
Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications
