The drive to excel and thrive in an engaged, collaborative environment?Golder has a new opportunity for an Instrumentation and Controls Technician to join our team in a full-time position at our Questa, New Mexico, Water Treatment Plant.Responsibilities of the role will include:
Maintain and support systems related to the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) including -
Troubleshoot and respond to issues that arise
Security
Evaluate and monitor performance
Participate in upgrades to the system
Troubleshoot and repair programmable logic controllers (PLC’s)
Capability to modify and change existing PLC logic as required
Train and provide technical assistance to operations and maintenance staff
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent
At least four years of experience in experience programming, and maintaining SCADA, DCS or other high level control systems
Desired:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
