This process includes maintaining proper documentation and resolving differences in a timely manner. Reconciliation duties also require collaborative work with Employee Services department team members and other Gap Inc. business partners to recommend and implement solutions that meet business needs.Who you are2-4 years related experience (required)Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (required)Previous experience with balance sheet reconciliations (required)Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (required)Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsEmbraces change and thrives in a dynamic environmentUnderstands all aspects of payroll processing flow as they relate to Store/Headquarters and both Out-Bound and In-BoundAnalyzes and prepares account reconciliations, maintain proper documentation and resolve differences in a timely mannerResponsible for preparing and posting transactions as they relate to the General LedgerDrives compliance of accounting controls within all areas of the department as outlined by the Gap Inc. Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) team, internal and external auditorsProblem-solves, recommends and facilitates solutionsPrepares and analyzes complex balance sheet reconciliationsBenefits at Gap Inc.
