The team tackles the firm's most critical workforce strategy opportunities.The roleAs a Workforce Planning Senior Manager, you will assume a lead role in the design and execution of enterprise-wide strategic workforce planning initiatives. This role will deliver sophisticated analysis, technology and planning tools to evolve the firm's workforce planning capability. Blending skills in business strategy, financial acumen, data analysis and consulting this role will serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders. The Workforce Planning Senior Manager is accountable for providing insights and guidance to inform future focused planning activities (i.e., Long Term Plan, business annual plans), delivering workforce planning tools and solutions, and serving as an integration point across stakeholder groups to drive more collaborative workforce planning. The ideal candidate has deep business advisor and/or firmwide strategy experience and is a strategic, big picture thinker who can connect the dots across a broad landscape, align insights to firm and business goals, and anticipate the needs and concerns of senior leaders. Key to this role is the ability to consider issues from multiple perspectives, have strong influencing capability and be extremely proactive in driving results.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Develop productive partnerships across Talent, Finance and the Businesses to serve as a trusted advisor on firmwide workforce planning activities

Lead the development of insightful, data-driven solutions and implement scalable workforce planning tools and technology

Analyze business strategies and business-led workforce planning activities to identify talent implications and opportunities to improve planning consistency and standardization

Effectively gather and interpret internal/external data trends and insights to assess talent gaps, forecast needs and model future scenarios to inform leadership decision-making

Define and track workforce metrics aligned with the firmwide workforce strategy, firm investments and long-term plan

Influence and gain senior leader buy-in to drive adoption and support of WFP COE vision and initiatives

Develop compelling, logically structured presentations and deliverables to communicate workforce planning strategies to Talent and Business leaders

Manage, coach, and support the success of junior team members via formal and informal reporting relationships

Desired Skills, Experience & CapabilitiesStrong strategic workforce advisor background with experience operating in a complex organization

Success engaging at senior management levels to impact and influence decision-making

Deep understanding of strategy development, design, and implementation of cross-functional initiatives

Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret qualitative and quantitative workforce data and synthesize into meaningful and actionable results

Excellent interpersonal, problem solving, and project management skills

Ability to identify technology solutions and tools to solve business problems, drive desired outcomes and present approaches through data driven storytelling

Ability to establish and lead cross-functional teams and working groups

Qualifications8+ years' experience in a Workforce Planning, Business Strategy, Talent Business Advisor or Business Intelligence role OR in-depth knowledge and experience in Strategic Workforce Planning

Proven track record leading high performing teams in agile, fast paced work environments

Excellent communication and active listening skills, including the ability to articulate complex messages in a clear, concise way to a variety of audiences

Demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic, complex, and ambiguous start-up environment; Calm under pressure and ability to pivot with unexpected challenges

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

This compensation range is specific to the State of Colorado and the State of Nevada and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
