Locally owned, Downtown Bar and Restaurant needs a quick thinking, organized individual to become an integral member of our kitchen team as a Food Expo! This is a fun, but high stress position, so it will take a unique individual who thrives under stress to succeed!

Job duties:
Correctly set up, maintains, and closes the Expo window
Monitors equipment in Expo area
Compare tickets to products to ensure special requests have been filled
Bag all takeout orders according to standard, including proper bagging techniques, use of takeout checklist, and proper packaging
Monitor ticket times, product holding times, and make corrections to ensure food quality and assurance
Send orders according to pivot point ordering
Facilitate and expedite the flow of food from the kitchen to the guests
Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Follow all sanitation guidelines
Become familiar with all menu items/dishes
Job Requirements:
Ability to follow specific service times and guidelines at all times
Ability to maintain a high degree of pace and intensity for an extended period of time
Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in restaurant environment preferred
Work as a contributing member of a team and willing to help fellow team members as needed
Ability to be on feet for extended period of time
Ability to lift, move, and carry items up to 50 lbs
Must be reliable and dependable by adhering to schedule, covering shifts as necessary, and being on time for scheduled shifts
Must have a Food Service Sanitation Certificate or be able to obtain one
Must be willing to work split shifts if needed
