Working Saturdays is required. By mid summer the position will expand to 4 or 5 days per week. Long term commitment required so only serious applicants apply.
The job requires proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel as well as the ability to easily learn new programs. Also required are excellent communication skills, a personable phone manner, and the ability to present a genuine and caring attitude toward customers, running some errands and sometimes going between two locations (so reliable transportation is a must). The position requires effective marketing skills when responding to telephone inquiries regarding storage needs, as well as clerical and administrative duties related to ancillary businesses. Some light cleaning is also required. We are looking for an individual who is detail-oriented, and takes initiative to complete tasks without needing to be reminded and derives pride and satisfaction from a job well done.
