Job Responsibilities:
Basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, and painting.
Repairing and maintaining structures such as showers, sinks, appliances, doors, cabinets, walls, and building exteriors.
Make ready units for new move-ins.
Responsible for 24 hours emergency maintenance.
Schedule and complete preventative maintenance program.
Complete grounds work such as: grounds pick up, sweeping.
Coordinate special projects as directed.
Maintain HVAC systems (if applicable).
Pool Maintenance (if applicable).
Work with property manager to schedule work orders and unit turns.
Have the tools required to complete all necessary tasks.
Maintain a professional and courteous manner with residents, visitors, contractors, and fellow employees.
Maintenance qualifications
Previous experience as Maintenance within a multifamily community
In-depth knowledge of different building (apartment complex) systems (heating, electrical, air conditioning, ventilation etc.)
Familiarity with relevant health and safety standards and regulations
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Outstanding communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
