Frank's Electric, a small Albuquerque area company, is seeking a Journeyman electrician for immediate hire
We are also looking for 2 year (minimum) apprentices to work on upcoming jobs.
Journeymen MUST have:
A strong work ethic
Current, Valid NM Journeyman's Licence
Valid Drivers Licence
Residential/ Commercial building experience (ground up and remodel)
Residential/ Commercial troubleshooting experience
Service experience
Apprentices MUST have:
A strong work ethic
2+ Years residential/ commercial field experience
Valid Drivers Licence
All Applicants must be able to pass random drug screenings
All applicants must be able to work independently and give efficient status reports. You will be required to have, and will be responsible for, your own tools.
Experience working with a small company preferred.
We are currently looking for people more suited to Commercial jobs, but we do commercial, residential and service work
The job will be mostly based in the Albuquerque area, but we do sometimes have jobs going out of town, (Las Cruces, Lovington, Artesia) we may be looking for someone who can travel on occasion, when needed.
Pay to be discussed with Frank, please have an idea of desired wage when applying.
For the journeyman position we are not looking for a foreman, but need someone who can work independently under minimal direction.
Hours vary a little but are generally M-F 8:00 - 4:00 1/2 hour lunch (35-40 hours/ week). You may need to work longer if a service call runs long at the end of the day, or an emergency comes in at the end of the day. You may be required to work earlier, or evenings or Saturday if scheduling calls for it; although this is rare, we do need someone who can be there when we need them.
We are only looking for people with experience that are willing to be on time, get the job done and be present daily
