Bixby Electric, Inc. is actively seeking a shop mechanic. The Equipment Mechanic reports to the Lead Mechanic and supports the Equipment Manager through maintenance and repair of vehicles, small tools, construction equipment, and commercial vehicles. In addition, the Equipment Mechanic will perform light fabrication duties, up-fits for vehicles and equipment, and some small engine / tool repair and maintenance. Equipment Mechanic will perform maintenance and repair out of a supplied mechanics truck as needed. Equipment mechanic will occasionally support the yard and warehouse by receiving and / or assisting in receiving of materials.
Requirements:
3 - 5 years of documented experience working on equipment and vehicles in a construction-oriented shop or equivalent.
Must have complete set of tools for automotive repairs (Tool list available upon request).
Recommended:
Automotive, equipment, or diesel certifications are a plus but can be substituted with additional experience.
