We have a Bilingual ERP Supervisor job opening in Friona, TX this person would be required to live in or around the Friona area, standard relocation will be offered. This is a 3rd Shift, Beef Slaughter & Processing Plant with a total of 126 employees. This position leads PSSI’s Employee Retention Program “ERP” in plants with 50 or more team members. The ERPS is responsible for executing PSSI’s ERP policies and all Five Elements of the ERP Program. This ERP Supervisor must know, understand, and be able to communicate the ERP principles to team members in the program, while being responsible for the successful execution of the ERP effort. POSITION SUMMARY

This position leads PSSI’s Employee Retention Program “ERP” in plants with 50 or more team members. The ERPS is responsible for executing PSSI’s ERP policies and all Five Elements of the ERP Program. This ERP Supervisor must know, understand, and be able to communicate the ERP principles to team members in the program, while being responsible for the successful execution of the ERP effort.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

To be qualified to perform an ERP Supervisor job, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation:

1. Guarding the Front Door – Hiring Selectivity:

o Meet with the local workforce office, cooperate with non-profits, recommend paid advertising to Corporate Recruiting staff, utilize Talent Reef, and work with offsite recruitment locations to attract applicants.

o Directly contact applicants to screen/interview for the open positions.

o Ensure that all screening/hiring selectivity requirements are completed. Show applicants the New Applicant Video, conduct interviews, review work history, define essential job functions, explain the benefits of a career with PSSI.

o Make hiring decisions as well as wages offered based on past work experience.

2. Manage 24-Hour Experience

o Conduct initial orientation, ensure all new hire paperwork is completed in Talent Reef and issue the 30-day Challenge.

o Ensure that the Safety Injury/Illness Manual is covered and documented in the New Hire Orientation process

o Ensure that every Brown Hat experiences all eight things that are apart of the 24-hour experience on their first day of employment.

3. Qualification – “EARNING THE WHITE HAT”

o Ensures that all Brown Hats understand the goal of the ERP effort and the Five Qualification Criteria

o Ensures that all new team members and rehires receive the entire 4 weeks of ERP Training and meet all Qualification Criteria.

o Coordinate with leadership in making the Qualification decision and planning the Qualification Celebration

4. Selection and Preparation of Trainers

o Select and Train new ERP trainers.

o Ensure trainers are designated with lime green hats and utilize the daily training cards.

o Ensure that there in one ERP Trainer for every Brown Hat in the plant.

o Meet with ERP Trainers daily in the pre-shift meeting to ensure that they have their ERP Cards and are clear on training objectives.

Maintain the New Hire/Trainer Whiteboard or Electronic White Board

o Ensure that ERP program is being executed through nightly routine audits of every Brown Hat and Trainer

on the floor. (65%-70% of the ERPS time should be on the plant floor)

o Lead weekly ERP Trainer Meetings

5. Sustaining the Culture

o Lead, schedule and attend three weekly meetings to ensure the ERP culture is sustained: Weekly

debrief with new hire meeting, Weekly ERP Trainer meeting and the Weekly ERP New Hire Video

training (A, B, C, D)

o Assist SM with ERP improvements and address corrective actions identified during ERP Assessments

o Escalate any issues to SM, AM, HRDM and Corporate Retention Director of any issues that are

compromising the ERP effort and the complete execution of the ERP Program

o Address grievances of team members and issue discipline when necessary

o Conduct exit interviews to both determine the reason for leaving and collect PPE.

6. ERP Training: All ERP Supervisors are required to successfully complete the ERPC Training and Development

Program delivered by the Division HRDM
